However, she fought esophageal cancer for almost two years before resigning from her post owing to her health.

She was one of the much-loved officer and many wondered if her weight loss was cause of her health condition.
It came as the shock for her fans and followers that she was suffering from the cancer and some even noticed her alopecia after the condition.
She resigned from her position after she became unable to continue cause her health got even worst.

Hamilton County Auditor Brigid Kelly Cancer Death Cause
According to Brigid Kelly’s family’s statement provided on behalf of the Hamilton County auditor’s office, the auditor passed away cause of cancer on Tuesday at home in the company of “love and peace.”
The community that Brigid Kelly served will continue to be impacted by her legacy and every member on her community are deeply saddened by the news of her passing.
Senator Sherrod Brown also honored Kelly’s life and enduring contributions to public service through his X.
Sherrod conveyed on X, “Today brings a somber moment for all who had the privilege of crossing paths with Brigid Kelly.”
He had also written, “A staunch advocate for workers and families in Southwest Ohio, Brigid remained unwavering in her commitment to the dignity of labor and the well-being of all Ohioans.”
With deep sympathy, he wrote, “Her departure from us is deeply premature. Connie and I will cherish her memory dearly,”
Hamilton County Auditor Brigid Kelly Tribute
DeWine ordered flags to be lowered to honor Kelly’s life and legacy.
DeWine shared condolence to her with his deep sympathy for family, he said “Fran and I express our sorrow at the passing of Hamilton County Auditor Brigid Kelly.”
He further said, “Throughout her career, Brigid demonstrated a deep commitment to public service, serving as a Norwood City Councilwoman, a State Representative, and ultimately as Hamilton County Auditor.”
And also, “Those who had the privilege of working alongside her, myself included, recognized Brigid’s friendly demeanor, her collaborative spirit, and her readiness to cooperate across party lines for the betterment of Ohioans.”
He expressed his sadness and added, “Our heartfelt condolences go out to Brigid’s husband, Steve, and her entire family during this difficult time,”
Hamilton County Prosecutor Melissa Powers issued a statement following Kelly’s passing, cause of the fatal condition.
She expressed her sadness and wrote “I was deeply saddened to hear about Brigid Kelly’s untimely passing last night. She was a vibrant young woman committed to public service.”
Further she wrote, “Brigid served our county with dedication and grace, earning recognition for her strong leadership. Throughout her courageous battle with cancer over the past two years, she demonstrated remarkable bravery.”
And, “My heartfelt condolences go out to her family and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time,”
Commissioner Alicia Reece issued a statement concerning Kelly’s passing cause of the cancer illness.
Reece also expressed the sadness of her passing and wrote, “I am devastated by the news of Auditor Brigid Kelly’s passing. We have lost a dedicated advocate for our citizens and a genuine public servant far too soon.”
“Please keep the Kelly family in your thoughts and prayers. In honor of County Auditor Brigid Kelly, I have directed the County Administrator to lower the flags to half-staff on all county-owned buildings,”
