On December 27, 2020, Nick McGlashan passed away at the age of 33 in his Nashville, Tennessee home.
The cause of his death was an accidental drug overdose, resulting from a toxic mix of methamphetamine, cocaine, and fentanyl.

Nick was addicted to the substance since 2013, and after being expelled from the season 13 of the show he had gone to rehab center.
After going to rehab the Deadliest Catch star found some hope and he has even stopped its use for sometime.
